Before becoming president, John Mahama served as vice president to Ghana’s late president, John Evans Atta Mills.
Following the death of John Evans Atta Mills, he was declared president of the country, where he served until losing elections in 2016.
His presidency was described as a working period in which he built more roads and schools.
Since entering opposition, he has been working hard to reclaim power, as many Ghanaians have grown tired of Nana Akufo-poor Addo’s leadership.
