Popular Nigerian musician Harrysong was apprehended this morning by personnel from the Lagos state police command in connection with his ongoing spat with music mogul Sososberekon.
Soso filed a complaint with the Inspector General of Police alleging slander and a threat to his life by Harrysong.
In a recent interview, Harrysong said that Sososoberekon, whom he characterized as his nemesis, sent people to kill him in Port Harcourt.
Harrysong landed in Nigeria this morning and was met at the airport by police. According to police sources, he will be questioned about the incident and may be freed or detained further depending on the outcome of their investigation.
Sososoberekon, a music executive, urged Harrysong to retract an allegation he made against him on Tuesday, October 4.
In a recent interview, Harrysong stated that Soso is his nemesis and then claimed that Soso dispatched people to murder him in Port Harcourt.
Soso responded through his lawyers, claiming that Harry’s statement is untrue and without foundation.
Soso demanded in a statement posted on his social media accounts that HarrySong remove his allegation accusing him of attempted murder and write an apology in two national dailies and various online news sources. He also demanded that Harrysong pay a settlement of 500 million Naira.
As previously reported by Gistlover news, singer Harrysong answered to Soso’s requests.
It all started when Harry Song said that many of his friends in the entertainment industry are not his pals.
The singer-songwriter made this known while speaking with the hosts of the Frankly Speaking Podcast.
He also said that Soso is not his friend as many believe.
He claimed Soso is his “enemy” and even tried to kill him.
Though he did not give a surname, it is suspected that he was referring to music producer and talent manager Soso Soberekon
Harry added that Soso sent people to kill him in Port Harcourt.
