Prominent Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., widely known as Shatta Wale has hinted on one of the major causes of the victories of the drill sensation, Black Sherif in the music scene.
In an interview with Paul Adom-Otchere of Metro TV on the Good Evening Ghana segment, Shatta Wale stated that Black Sherif is thriving in the music industry because of the record label he has been signed to.
He explained that the sole purpose of the record label is to take control over the managerial aspect of the musician and manage the musician in order for him to elevate with his craft.
He went further by saying that most musicians in Ghana are not fully registered to record labels, hence the majority manage and control the affairs of their music craft by themselves and invest into their own craft.
He added that Black Sherif happens to be the only musician in Ghana to be fully registered with a record label in Ghana.
