Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu dedicates 40UnderForty Aaward To Zongo Youth



Youth Ambassador for Peace & Development, cum Founder of the Afro Arab Group of Companies, Alhaji Salamu Amadu has dedicated his 40UnderForty Africa Awards to the youth from Nima, Maamobi, and other Zongo communities in Ghana.


The assiduous financial services business personality was adjudged the best among his contenders in the banking and finance category.

In his award acceptance speech, the youth development ambassador  and business man dedicated the award to the youth from the Zongo communities in the country for believing in his dream and giving him the necessary support that propelled his business to nationwide level.


"I was born and bread in Maamobi a deprived community in Ghana but I have been able to break the odds to become an entrepreneur, philanthropist and businessman. I want to dedicate this award to the youth in the Zongos most especially those from Maamobi and Nima. Let me applaud the organisers of this esteemed award for their superb work. The packaging is outstanding. Honesty is hard to put this feeling into words. I'm honoured to be the first in the banking and finance category. I'm proud to be an African tonight," he said.

Ambassador Amadu also called on investors across the world to come and do business in Africa. 

"I want to use this medium to call on investors across the globe to come and do business in Africa because Africa has many businesses. 
And of course, Ghana is the gateway to Africa because we have been blessed with many natural resources," he added.


Alhaji Amadu, who is one of the most decorated young business magnate in Ghana was selected among the 2023 Young Influential Ghanaians to compete for the continental honour.


Recently, youth from the ruling political party New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso North Constituency where he resides, clashed over lobbying plans to win him over to contest the parliamentary elections on the ticket of their party in the upcoming 2024 General Elections.


Ambassador Amadu rather prefers to be an entrepreneur, a businessman and a philanthropist than a politician as he added that God knows the best when someone called him to find out whether he was entering into politics.

The 40underforty Africa Awards was held on the 25th of March 2023 at the Leonardo Hotel-Sandton- South Africa.
