Carlo Ancelotti Signs Contract Extension With Real Madrid Till 2026

The Real Madrid football club in Spain and Carlo Ancelotti have agreed to extend Ancelotti's contract until June 30, 2026.

Ancelotti has won 10 titles in his five seasons as Real Madrid's coach: two Champions Leagues, two Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, one La Liga, two Copa del Reys, and one Spanish Super Cup.

On Friday, December 29, the club announced the news via its social media accounts.

Carlo Ancelotti is the only coach to have won four European Cups and the most victories in the competition's history (118). He is also the first coach in history to have won all five major European leagues (Italy, England, France, Germany, and Spain).

While Ancelotti was supposed to be interested in coaching the Brazilian national team next summer, Real Madrid decided to reward him with a new deal that will expire in 2026. The Italian coach has guided Madrid to a strong first half of the 2023-2024 season, surviving a major injury problem that threatened to derail the team's season.
