Ghanaian Actor and Content creator, Jeffrey Nortey, has paid a courtesy call on the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, at the Ga Mantse Palace in Accra.
The visit, which took place on Wednesday was to seek the King's wise counsel and formally invite him to grace his upcoming event scheduled for June 14, 2025, at the National Theatre.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Nortey highlighted the growing popularity of his recent works, particularly the skits and videos performed in the Ga language alongside veteran actor Kalsoume Sinare.
These performances, he said, have resonated widely with audiences and have gone viral across social media platforms.
“This is not just an invitation to my show,” Nortey said. “It is an opportunity to receive wisdom and guidance from His Royal Majesty that will further enrich my craft.”
Representing King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Paramount Chief of the Abola Traditional Area, Nii Ahene Nunoo III, expressed the King’s appreciation for the visit and commended the young actor for promoting Ga culture and language through entertainment.
He assured that the Ga State would be fully represented at the upcoming event.
