Ballon d’Or 2025 Award Ceremony: The 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony organized by France Football will take place on September 23 (IST) in the French capital city. The 69th edition of the ceremony shall see the best players (male and female) off of a 30-name shortlist.

Started in the year 1956, the Ballon d’Or is the highest individual prize in world football and for the first time ever, the 2025 tournament will feature a star-studded awards ceremony with an equal number of accolades for both men’s and women’s football. Awards will be presented to the best male and female playeryoung playergoalkeepertop scorer, and coach. A new Socrates Award will also be introduced to honor humanitarian efforts.
