Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, popularly known as Shatta Wale explained the difference between Nigerian musicians and Ghanaian musicians. The point he deliberated on is that Nigerians do music people want to hear or love to listen to while Ghanaians do music to compete.
During his Interview in a video shared by Tooxclusive on Instagram, he explained that Ghanaians competing with music distracts them from making good music. Always competing or trying to slender their colleagues has been one of the reasons why they couldn’t focus on making good music.
He said that Nigerian musicians sing about love and other things. They hardly release songs to compete with each other.
