Jennifer Lopez Announces First Album In Eight Years

Jennifer Lopez has treated fans to the announcement of a new album on the 20th anniversary of her hit This Is Me... Then.

The 53-year-old singer sparked concern amongst her fanbase after deleting all old pictures of herself on Instagram earlier this week. She had also changed all of her social media profile pictures to black.

But now J-Lo is back and has revealed she will be dropping a new album in 2023, aptly titled This Is Me... Now.

In a teaser trailer for the new music which she shared on her social media channels, Jennifer uses her This Is Me... Then artwork to transform into her current self.

In the clip she says: "This is me then, this is me now."

Jennifer also shared the track listing for the album, which includes new songs such as Mad in Love, Rebound and Dear Ben part two.

Fans have been going wild for the announcement and flocked to Instagram to share their excitement.

"Love you soooo much," one person wrote, while another commented: "YASSSS JEN!!!!"

A third fan penned: "THIS IS SO MAGICAL OMG." Someone else couldn't contain their excitement and said: "That transition tho my god you are perfect…. This is perfect I can’t waitttt for #ThisIsMeNow."

This Is Me... Now will be Jennifer's first studio album in eight years, after she released A.K.A in June 2014.

The new release will follow the emotional and psychological journey she has taken over the past two decades and will be unlike any album she has produced before.

Earlier this year, the songstress opened up about what fans can expect from her latest venture.

"This album is the most honest thing I have done, a culmination of who I am as a person and an artist," she said in an interview with Vogue.
