Throwback PHOTO Of Mohammed Salisu Starting As Footballer In Ghana

 


Mohammed Salsiu has become one of Ghana’s most important players at the 2022 World Cup.

In fact, he has become the solid rock in the defence of the Black Stars, who have contributed immensely to solidifying the backline.

His awareness, agility, and exceptional control over the football have earned him nationwide plaudits and global admiration.

When he scored Ghana’s first goal against South Korea yesterday, he earned the love and praise of all.

Mohammed Salisu is currently a defender who plays club football for Southampton FC in the English Premier League.

Before Mohammed Salisu moved to England, he was playing for Real Valladolid in the Spanish La Liga.


Mohammed Salisu joined the academy side of Real Valladolid from a Ghanaian football academy called African Talent in 2017.

He worked so hard and moved through the ranks: Valladolid U-19, Valladolid B, Valladolid Prom, and Valladolid Senior.

The throwback picture of him training in the sand in Ghana a few years ago has gone viral on social media.
