Davido Shuts Down O2 Arena For The Third Time

David 'Davido' Adeleke, an award-winning Afrobeats musician, once again delighted fans with an amazing performance at his colossal 'Timeless' concert at London's iconic O2 Arena.

The sold-out event at The O2 entertainment complex on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London, United Kingdom, is part of Davido's "Timeless Tour," which began in 2023 following the publication of his record-breaking fourth album, also titled "Timeless."

The tour has already seen him wow audiences all over the world, demonstrating his energetic stage presence and genre-bending sound, delighting fans with a collection of his popular tunes, and being joined on stage by various musicians.

Davido's newest O2 gig is the third time he has sold out the 20,000-capacity arena, having becoming the first Nigerian solo artist to do so in 2019 and returning for another sold-out show in 2022.

At the 'Timeless Concert' at the O2, Davido performed hit songs from his catalog to the pleasure of fans who sung along.

Davido was joined onstage by DMW signee Logos Olori to sing 'Picasso' from his 'Timeless' album.

He also brought out Mayorkun to perform their hit tune 'The Best'. It was a wonderful moment when he brought out Kizz Daniel to perform their recent duet, 'Twe Twe'.

Angelique Kidjo, a Grammy Award winner and icon, joined Davido on stage to sing their joint song 'Na Money' from the Timeless album.

Davido sold out his event at the O2 Arena.
Davido's O2 concert comes a week before the 2024 Grammy Awards, where he competes in three categories for his first win.

He is up for three top awards, including Best African Song Performance ("Unavailable"), Best Global Song Performance ("Feel"), and Best Global Album ("Timeless").

Since the album's release, 'Timeless' has received millions of streams across various music platforms.

In April, the project ranked 37th on the Billboard 200 chart. It ranked 39th on Billboard's "Top 50 Best Albums of 2023" list in December.

In the same month, the album set a new Apple Music first-day streaming record for an African release.

Davido recently headlined Atlanta's State Farm Arena for his Are We Africans Yet (A.W.A.Y) festival, which featured Adekunle Gold, Focalistic, Mayorkun, and Lojay.

Davido's career officially launched in 2011 with the release of his debut single, 'Dami Duro'.

With numerous accolades and honorary mentions, the singer has established himself as one of the most prominent figures in the African music industry.
