AMBtrends, Ghanaian apparel collection led by Ghanaian artist and entrepreneur Amelli, has joined the breast cancer awareness campaign.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed in countries around the world, and it aims to raise awareness and support for early detection, treatment, and palliative care for women suffering this disease.
Every year, around 1.7 million new instances of breast cancer are diagnosed, with 522 000 deaths. Breast cancer is the most frequent cancer in women worldwide, and it is the leading cause of cancer in the majority of countries.
Breast cancer control relies heavily on early detection. Breast cancer has a decent chance of being cured if detected early and adequate diagnostic and therapy are available.
As a result, AMBtrends has urged the world to rename Breast Cancer Awareness to Breast Care Awareness in order to alleviate dread in women who are notified they have such a disease following a diagnosis.
Amelli, the CEO of AMBtrends, believes breast cancer can be avoided if women had frequent check-ups.
He also included numerous Twitter influencers, such as Neba Sark, BenopaOnyx1, and others, to assist promote this endeavour to prevent the spread of Breast Cancer, as they tweeted below.
