Adebola, Emeka Ike's former personal assistant, has stated that the issue that arose between the actor and his ex-wife, Suzanne, was caused by money.
In an interview with DaddyFreeze, Adebola stated that after the pair married, they opened a joint account, and that issues began when Suzanne, who was a signatory to the account, began to move money from the account without his knowledge, causing any cheque made by the actor to fail.
He stated that the incident Suzanne described in which the actor nearly crippled her is not totally accurate. Suzanne stated in the interview that Adebola was in the house when the actor beat her up and that he subsequently walked in to see whether she had died.
In response to this claim, Adebola stated that on the day in question, the actor was furious with Suzanne after learning that no one had arrived to pick up their third child from school. He stated that when the actor arrived at their home, he became enraged when he discovered their final child, a year old, with poo all over her body and alone on the walk way. He claimed that they had an altercation and that Suzanne was the one who slapped the actor twice. He claimed he returned after their altercation to ask her why she slapped the actor.
